Developed with input from On-Cue customers, Allocade's new software release is designed to significantly improve operational efficiencies throughout the hospital enterprise. Key features include:
On-Cue Enterprise Viewer
The new Enterprise Viewer offers customers a web-based software solution that enables clinicians, technicians, administrators across the hospital enterprise to access any current web browser, log on and interact with On-Cue. This can be performed remotely using devices such as a personal digital assistant, a smart phone or the new Apple iPad Tablet. In addition to browser-based client view, customers can chat; utilize task drop-down menus and perform protocol updates.
Online Protocol Tool
On-Cue's Protocol Tool provides radiologists a web-based software tool that can be customized with personal and site based templates. Exams that require protools can be accessed and protocols completed online at anytime prior to the procedure. Technologists can view exam protocols before and during exams via the On-Cue display in the control room. Online protocoling streamlines department workflow and improves patient turn around times because exams are not delayed due to the wait time associated with the common paper-based protocoling process.
Portable Ultrasound Exam Support
Customers now have the ability to block room time when an exam needs to be performed outside the department. Portable exams impact patient flow within the department, because a technologist and equipment are unavailable when an exam needs to be performed at the patient's bedside. Additionally, the length of portable exams varies due to transit time and patient condition that often impact in-department schedules. Portable exam support helps the management of resources within the ultrasound department to improve the optimization of flow for all patients.
“The new software release offers our customers a broad, enterprise-wide platform solution that can accommodate as many users as possible,” said Eric Raymond, vice president of engineering, Allocade. “The immediate and positive response from customers is a testament to the growing need of hospitals to utilize resources more efficiently and improve the delivery of healthcare throughout the enterprise."
