Roger Sippl
Chairman of the Board

Roger Sippl is a founding partner of Sippl Investments, LLC. Previously Roger was founder and CEO of Informix Software, co-founder of The Vantive Corporation and was founder and CEO of Visigenic Software. Roger also was an early individual investor in Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix in 1996), and Red Pepper Software (acquired by Peoplesoft in 1997) and many other Silicon Valley success stories. Roger currently serves on the boards of WaveMaker, Demand Reports, Codesion and SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI). Roger earned a B.S. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley.


Don Rosenthal
Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Don Rosenthal, who founded Allocade in 2004, is the company’s CTO. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in leading-edge software development specializing in advanced planning and scheduling systems. Don was part of the original team that developed the scheduling system for the Hubble Space Telescope – a system that was shown to increase the orbiting facility’s throughput by nearly 50 percent. He later created and ran the artificial intelligence application group at NASA Ames Research Center, where he worked on architectures for an autonomous Mars Rover, intelligent command systems for the Pioneer spacecraft and the first expert system to fly on a manned space mission. Don founded Interval Logic Corporation in 1995 to provide planning and scheduling tools for semiconductor manufacturers, including a system to schedule and reschedule detailed fab operations in real-time in response to changes on the shop floor. Don holds both a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.

 

Timothy S. Heher

Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Vice President of Finance and Administration

Tim Heher joined Allocade in August 2009 as vice president of finance and administration, and was promoted to chief operating officer in April 2010. Tim brings with him more than 25 years of finance and operations experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Allocade, Tim was chief financial officer for United Medical Instruments where he was responsible for all finance and accounting activities, information technologies, treasury, facilities, purchasing, order administration and human resources. Before this, Tim was director of finance for supply chain management at Siemens Medical Solutions, Ultrasound Division. Tim also held the position of director of finance for sales, service and marketing at Siemens Medical Solutions, Ultrasound Division. Beginning in 1989, Tim joined Acuson Corporation and held several senior management positions in accounting and corporate finance. Acuson was acquired by Siemens Medical Solutions in November 2000. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.

 

Rahul Mahadevan

Vice President of Business Development

Rahul Mahadevan is vice president of business development for Allocade, where he is responsible for developing the company’s key strategic and channel partnerships. Rahul has been with Allocade since 2006, where he previously served as the company’s vice president of field operations overseeing the sales and customer operations. Before joining Allocade, Rahul was director of emerging markets for the Healthcare Informatics Business Group at Philips Medical Systems. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, operations and business development of the Healthcare Informatics portfolio into the emerging markets (Brazil, India, ASEAN and China), as well as Asia Pacific and Latin America. Prior to this, Rahul was director of sales and business operations at Stentor, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Philips Medical Systems. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University East Bay. He also holds a Master of Economics with a focus on International Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

 

Todd J. McNitt

Senior Vice President of Sales Operations

Todd McNitt joined Allocade in March 2010 as vice president of sales, bringing with him over 19 years of successful Healthcare IT sales and leadership experience. Prior to joining Allocade, Todd served as the national director of healthcare information systems for Carestream Health’s U.S. and Canada business unit, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s information technology product line. Todd has also held senior sales leadership positions with Fujifilm Medical Systems USA, and Toshiba America Medical Systems.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from Tampa College.


Eric Raymond

Vice President of Engineering

Eric Raymond is vice president of engineering for Allocade, where he is responsible for all software development, architecture, product management and quality assurance activities. Eric brings with him more than 20 years of experience in developing advanced software systems with a track record of successfully applying new technologies to new products and markets. Before joining Allocade, Eric was chief technology officer and vice president of engineering at Winster, where he was responsible for technology strategy, engineering, architecture, product development and site operations. Prior to this, Eric held senior management positions at Inzap and Sierra On-Line. Eric brings an in-depth understanding in artificial intelligence to Allocade and he is widely recognized as the creator of the first Expert System to fly in space for NASA.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Duke University, and a Master of Computer Science from Stanford University.
